Society got terro news again at India....we have nothing good news in my
country still now and going the end of year at last....I'd like to put off TV
and nothing expect anymore in news for a while...
I took photo this one week ago and satisfied this second photo that a mantis
was sitting keep on the leaf of fatsia all day...I could focus his figure and sun
light by chance this time , because I can't take good one and over again always..
Temprature is few warm may be, so a mantis stay even in first winter but north
wind blow few days later and he (both were same ) gone somewhere at last...
This yellow leaves that I planted young Magnoria one year ago , I found very
interest as leaf come out from this bud since Spring...I expect flower will apear
from this bud , but unfortunatly, only green leaf come out all season untill now..
See you again , insect....
Untill next season...
If It's the transmigration of the soul....
Happy thanks giving day ! anyway and christmas will come soon...
wish don't have flu everybody......and wish welcome to new year with fine.....

I like Praying Mantises. I've only seen one here in Texas but I saw lots of them in California. I just read in Wikipedia that the word 'mantis' is Greek for "prophet" or "fortune teller."
Wonderful mantis. YAY! The fuzzy little buds are great too.
I try to avoid the news. Lots of good things happen in the world, but the news just can't seem to find those.
yes, that is a good photo.
yes, sometimes I'm sad watching the news, too
those are great shots Naomi--- I like the bursting of beautiful fall/autumn colors of the plants. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving dinner--we had a very scrumptous dinner yesterday. Have a great weekend!
Your photographs and writing are ever soothing to the soul, Friend Naomi~What a blessing, to capture the Mantis.
It is sad, though, about the violent attack in India.
Peace~
