It's hot day continu now...my plants were all fine...amazing everyday from plants.. Trachelospermum asiaticum become pink color in only now season....Mimosa's leaf close and hang her head when touch by finger...
Your mini-rose looks just like one I had in California. (which I miss)
Oh, these are lovely, simply lovely, my Friend, Naomi. One can tell straight away that they are loved.
Blessings~
Hi Naomi-- those are beautiful plants... I remember mimosa when I was in the Philippines. When I was about 7, I remember my friends and I used to go out and venture on empty lots near us and we discovered many wild plants. One of them is the mimosa-- we loved touching them. At first we thought the plants died, but later on we realized that it's just the plant's nature to fold it's leaves when touched. That's a memory I'd never forget in my childhood... I have not seen this kind of mimosa here in the U.S... the ones I came across and had seen do not fold the leaves when touched.
Your plants look very healthy...Thanks for sharing Naomi...
never seen a mini rose before
wonderful pictures of these lovely plants
We have a mini rose bush in white. My youngest daughter K has it in her apartment during the school year and then brings it up to us during the summer. It blooms year round for her.

Naomi I just read your 'Mountain' poem and enjoyed it tremendously. Your garden and plant photos always touch me. I went to the butterfly garden on the Mall at Washington DC on Friday, 8/15/08, and thought of you as I looked at the well-tended plants. Your garden seems to flourish with your careful attention.
Those flowers are very pretty!
Yes, the Eagles sang "Hotel California" at the concert. They did a really good job with it! It sounded just like the recording.
I hope you are enjoying your summer. Have a great weekend!
ryc: hmm, yes maybe. I dont think we should take alltoo serious such animations and cartoons about goddess and religions. It shows us how important we take ourselves in our paradigms...
