Sean Connery
Scotland
Sir Sean Connery has said he believes Scotland will become an independent country
within his lifetime..acording of BBC news, Sir Sean (77), who was born in Edinburgh,
has previously sworn not to return to the country untill it is independent..more detail
Kingdom of Scotland was annexed to UK at 1707..Land is adress 1/3 of north UK and
south borderline is with England..capital city Edinburgh is most large economic city
in Europe and second city Glasgow have 40% of population of Scotland..Coastline of
North Atlantic Ocean and The North Sea have most large deposits of oil field in Europe..
acording of internet..Scotland , one of the oldest nations in the world, has made a
massive contribution to mankind in many fields, particularly science, industry and
health..Her hope have been to the fore in setting up democratic goverments all over
the world..Many Scots lost their lives fighting for American Independence.(omit)
Day by day the Scottish indentity and way of life is being undermined and eroded..
Scottish history, although so rich in its achievement, is almost non-existent in our
own schools. Our children are taught British history which in effect means English
history..Our people will soon not know where they have come from..
Our goal is to gain Independence within the European Community and be like all
the other normal, small countries who are prospering Europe, free to negotiate as equals..
The Scottish National Party are gaining strength but we need help from all those who
believe in equality and freedom, some no doubt who have had benefit of Scottish
assistance and sacrifice in achieving independence for own country..
I knew very recentry, Canada and Australia is regined under England still now..
there are 140 stone henge in Scotland..these were made B.C.3500~B.C.1000 by The Celt..

I didn't know about all those Scottish Stonehenges.
Wonderful post and close to my heart - my family is Scottish and I've often thought of returning there.
I have seen the monoliths first hand and they are eerie.
