  • A crance cross the mountain..

p_04   Now is an extinct volcano..
       but face of mountain is
       as like as alive..

       light fall down from sky..
       and exsistence of solid atomosphere..

how admired and drawed by painter..
and standing with calm from distance view

a flock of crance cross the air of mountain..
that is one moment of gentry
in real hard weather of mountain..

        draw by Yokoyama Daikan (1868-1958)

  • So many times God's creations look gentle and beautiful, but the power is hidden from our view.  I really like this painting.

  • Sublime, my Friend~

    Simply Sublime~

    Blessings~

  • Such a beautiful picture.     I worked at Atsugi on an airbase and I could go to the upper story of the barracks and see Fuji from there.   Had the good fortune to be taken there one day,  high enough where there were people skating on a lake up there.

    Truly inspiring.

Title of the piece is,  "Jesu Joy Of  Man's Desiring"   and the composer is J. S. Bach.   It is not "Ode to Joy" --  just a wondrous swelling of the heart, ever ascending upwards.

  • The birds and the mountain are both majestic

  • It is surely the calm before the storm? So peaceful now....maybe for hundreds of years! The cranes are unknowing and love the peace.....What once was and what may be?.....they may never know in their lifetime.
