Milky Way

If we turn of city's light, we can see Milky Way in August's night sky..
this is a part of our nebula where 200 billion stars include of earth live in..
Greece m‚™th say this is milk sprashed when baby Hercules sucked breast of Zeus's wife ..
ancient people made story on a great canvas of univers with projection of hero..
people lived with sky and count time or day or year or season and pray to safe life..
they know these star will be expload ( comet ) as same destiny in our planet someday..
so we never mind of suside bomb ( nuclear ) on our beautiful little star....
Let's see great event of expload of star which show us many many million light years far a way...

The cosmos. A wonderful thing to thing on. I can sit and look at it for hours.
That's a great photo. With all the lights, it is impossible to see that over here. But Iwas on holiday in the Ardeche-France and every evening we had this light stripe all over the night sky, enough to feel just a so small being.
when i look at your picture on the left and tilt my head a bit to the left ..
its interesting to see it appear to look back at me
Hey Naomi...
I think I have seen that..., I wasn't sure, but I thought it might be the milky way.
Hugs, Tricia
I remember the first time I saw the Milky Way. We were at a lake, as you say far from the city lights. I was laying in the back of the pickup trying to catch a little sleep before the fish started biting again. It was a cool fall night. I saw I thought was a frontal system of clouds and then someone told me what I was really seeing. I will never forget the humble feeling of being so small in something so vast. Namaste, sweet Naomi, I bow to the God that is within you. ~ mom
You speak to us of things sublime that bring awe and wonder to our souls.
Thanks

Sometimes, on an early Summer's night, one can walk down by the creekside~and the hundred thousand fireflies that live there make one feel like one is walking along the Milky Way~
Such a lovely post this day, Friend Naomi~

Hugs, Tricia

One of my favourite things is looking at the stars in space, and wondering what is out there!.....
Have a super weekend!!
You look at the Milky Way from your country; I look at it from my country. It unites us in a way. Too bad it can't do the same for the middle eastern countries. I can see stars quite well in my backyard now, but the more the city comes closer to where I live, the less I can see the stars. I think it is better to live far from all those crowds.
