@@ Hawaii The Northwest Hawaii Islands were unknown place for public people untill now.. This place is a coral reef of 2,200km for northwest of hawaii ( more large than Great Brrier Reef of Cairns in Australia ) and called " The fragile Blue sanctuary " and never enter by human or any airplane fly over there or ship sail without permission.. President Bush designated here National Monument today, and it's worth of protect to great nature from problem by human's hand.. there are many rear wild animals that has become extinct..so it's designated National protection wards and U.S.Fish & Wild Life Service keep ecological system since 1909..( from today's news)
These little islands were top of death volcano for under sea 150m of Island and it seems 4000m of large volcano by servey from botumn of sea...this land was made 28million years ago with activity of volcano and exploded basalt and limestome of sedimentary coral reef or shells...and moving into sink with weight of island.. it's 360 squre km2 and have 7,000 kind of sea creaters, so sounds most biggest sea protection ward in the world..and it'll be prohibition of business fishing in future.. what a large span of these island history was....
I am glad the President did this....It is something worthy of our attention.
That is so wonderful. It isn't often Bush does something great like this for the environment. YAY!
Hoe lovely!
My husband has been to Hawaii...I would love to go some day!
Have a great day,

Ooops! Thats suppose to say How!
We want to see Hawaii too, one of these days. But there are so many beautiful places to see that have eluded me so far...I haven't seen the Grand Canyon or Niagra Falls. Maybe soon.
Fascinating. I used to live on the island of Oahu and I never knew about all those underwater formations to the north. I have heard of Midway Island but don't know much about it.
I didn't know that. You always have such interesting posts, that make me Google it and reading more about it. Thank you.
That's good to protect those places.

Hi there, you posted a comment on my page so I just thought I'd return the favor. Just out of curiosity, how did you find my site??
Hi There!! were just dropping by to remind you of our contest and you can vote again on the new one for this week who knew there were so many creative mailboxes
That is my plan, recarnation or not, I am just going to do the best I can now.
You're saying that you liked my post is a very high complement. Thank you very much. Beautiful post. I was reading the other day where global warming has killed some of the coral, rather the little sea creatures that make the coral when they die. I am not what they call a "greenie" I think there is a happy medium between protecting animals and protecting man but I do think more could be done on the animal side of the scales. Today I did for my animal...I gave my pit bull dog a bath. I don't know who got more wet first but in the end between me and my brother in law, we won...She's clean...She's defleaed which means that I can keep the fleas out of the house now.
