  • How exciting.  Wouldn't her father be proud of her?

  • So, when does the US get a woman president?

  • No doubt the world will be watching her closely to see how she does and no doubt the US will be swayed to vote for any woman running for president.  I think anyone 65 and over should recieve free medical care including RX's.  They have worked hard all their lives and deserve being taken care of.  We need to clean up welfare as their are too many on it who are able to work who have beaten the system to get a free ride.  It should be a helping hand not a crutch for life.  It should be a helping hand to help those in dire need get a better restart in life and to support and take care of the elderly but by no means a crutch.  We will see what the USA does come election time.

  • Yes, it's great to see a woman president.  It's really amazing to me how different attitudes about human equality can exist in different cultures and at different times.

It's also interesting how leftists have been taking greater power in recent South American elections while in the US the democrats have only very narrowly lost in the last two elections.  Given what has happened over the last 8 years, maybe the US will again have a more liberal leader in 2008.

  • South America honors the women in a different way.  I hope she does well.  Naomi, which city do you live in?-g

  • From what you say, the country chose well.  It will be interesting to note how well she does with her campaign promises.  I too, hope she does well. ~ mom
