Those are some great movies. RYC: I am glad your enjoying the story and yes it is true. At the age I started experiencing these things, I was young and frightened but as the years went by I learned to accept it just as part of me and my family. It's helping to write about them. Take care and be safe.

The casino is pretty fun as long as you don't go thinking you are going to win.
I has be exceptionally warm here this January. Global warming? Who knows.
Have a great day!
It has been many years since I saw A Streetcar Named Desire and I don't remember a lot of it. Perhaps it was something I saw at a time that my life and it didn't relate. I have seen quite a few other Brando movies including the Godfather. He was also in one called One Eyed Jacks and I thought he did well considering the part he played. Ahhh the classic, Gone with the Wind. I have seen that many times and can almost give most of the script along with the actors. I enjoy old classic movies also. Some that I watch are the sappy sentimental ones. The ones you have mentioned here are more intense. Perhaps you would like Elmer Gantry with Burt Lancaster. I was a young girl when it first came to the theaters here. The line to get tickets was down the block and around the corner. Another movie that might have interest to you is Lion in Winter with Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn. Unlike the name suggests, ther is not a lion in the movie, it is referring to the rampaging lion of the English royalty. Miss Hepburn earned an oscar for her performance and a well deserved oscar I might add. ~ mom
