Woman President Mary Lobinson apeared at 1990 in Ireland and divorce was
parmited in law at 1995 ..her approval rating was 97% at four years later since
assumption. she rendered many services to woman's human right with get out
from old constitution.
However, this is very sad story about Catholic Church punishment to innocent young
girl in Ireland..Actor Perter Mullan knew this fact by documentary drama and felt
shock , then produced movie this "The Magdalene Sisters" to the world.
Magdalene Church was build uped 19Century by rehabilitation facilitiesand and
break downed 1996 in Dablin of Ireland..but in fact, girl who fall downed with innocent
guilty and arrested by family and enterd this church and lived submission life as prison..
130 of death body as ill-treatmented by church apeared in this redevelopment place
after break down. and 30,000 woman were injured by this system untill 1996 closed...
this church name from Magdalene Mary, but also we get question of sisters's nerve..
many of them couldn't get out this church untill die, and lived without freedom.
they was caught sexual accident or sufferer and their family were ordinaly people.
parents punishmented to daughter with strong commandments of Bible, and mother
allowed husband's decision and father took away daughter to church by car in night..
Story (1964) told REAL four daughters story and descrived sister's ill-treatment act ,
and how they get hurt and pain in mind and body..final scene, one girl's brother went
to meet her ,then church released her to brother at once..she supprised as got free
easy, because she was detained many years and give uped already..she walked with bring
her baggage and passed sister on the hall..then she shouted "Sir, I don't want
leave here.." sister asked " are you kidding ? you are free alrady.." then, she kneed
down, and closed eye and started to praying... " Our father who was heaven..."
" she seems mind-illness perfectly..
this scene was very impact to me..and other three girls tryed for run away from church
and could come back to society at last and could marry or independent by business....

Interesting that you should post this, considering my post today. It is very easy for people to get so used to their prisons that they do not want to leave, or cannot see a way out, or cannot even see that there is another way of life. We all get stuck in our beliefs. Peace to you.
That is a very sad story and in other countries there is some very strange beliefs still..it is sad..that is not it's purpose- I think if you choose to believe - you follow with what you believe to be the right way..not what others force on youo- and sh became 'brain washed' and that is so sad at the end...are you exploring religion ? I notice you ahve been writign about it lately...take good care, Lee

Sad the story's of mankind...injust treatment of any human being is a horror...
It is amazing to me how a few crazy people can enforce obviously cruel and unjust punishment on others, and the population will go along with it, out of fear of the few. Astonishing.
