Dog sledding has always held a huge interest for me.
It’s a true canine and human partnership.
It amazes me the dogs can do that. But, I guess they are trained for it and used to it. One of my friends had a Siberian Husky. I think it is too hot here for them to be comfortable.

That is neat the names your language has for the days of the week. I like that.
I’m such an animal lover. When we were in Alaska, I wanted to see the sled dogs, but it would have meant a small plane ride and my hubby said “no way”.
The races of most interest, here, in Atlanta, GA USA are called “Nascar”. They go around in a circle for 200-500 miles. The race was delayed by rain this past weekend and we had many unhappy tourists, fans and vendors.. Oh well, I’m not a fan. (don’t tell the other Southerners as I might suffer some rejection)
i want to see the movie Eight Below also. I love dogs, my son had a Siberian Husky that he rescued but we lost her a month or so later, she was very ill when we got her. I have three rescues now. Two Shar-peis and a Pit Bull. For seven years Bobby and I had a wolf dog. We looked everywhere for one of the harnesses they use to pull the sleds so that we could put a little cart behind him and exercise him more. He would have loved that but we never did find a harness here and unless we could have seen it we were not sure how to hitch the cart. Thanks for the great pictures. ~ mom
